
When Tami and I graduated from our 1st Round of INSANITY we were looking forward to starting the Month 1 workouts again. We assumed a couple of things:
1.) The Month 1 workouts are shorter and therefore easier than the brutal Month 2 workouts we have been doing for the past 30 days.
2.) Our vastly incresed physical conditioning from doing 30 days of the Month 2 workouts will allow us to absolutely POWER through the Month 1 workouts.
After completing the first week of Round #2 we found out that we were…WRONG! LOL!
The Month 1 workouts are JUST AS HARD as the Month 2 workouts, only shorter. There are exercises in the Month 1 workouts like Mountain Climbers that are VERY INTENSE and HARD when done with the proper form and intensity.
The Level 1 drills are shorter in reps vs the Level III Drills, however, you do them for a longer period of time vs the Level III Drills. That equals more intensity over time.
This is just another example of the genius of INSANITY. Its a workout program that you WILL NOT outgrow! The body adapts quickly and your gains in cardiovascular conditioning, strength, muscular endurance, and power are continuous and EXCITING!
We are continually amazed at just how hard we work without touching a weight! In my opinion, the ultimate expression of strength, power, and conditioning is what you can do without weights, using your body weight only. Look at the INCREDIBLE physical conditioning & strength expressed by Olympic Gymnasts. Bodyweight only. Pure inspiration.
